When we have friends or family stay at Promhills, we like to take them for breakfast at Shallow Inlet Beach, Sandy Point. It really sets the tone for the rest of the day, and if the sun is shining and the tides are mid-tide, that's a bonus. Be sure to check the tides before heading here - at high tide it's often not possible to drive on to the beach, where at low tide you can drive right around the sand bar. Next time you're staying here, be sure to ask for directions and a map.
We occasionally sneak over with a takeaway for dinner too! No better way to relax after a hard day than watching the sunset over the water with an ice cold beer and a pizza! Pizza courtesy of the Sandy Point Cafe.
